Jayme-Lee and Joel

I met Jaymee-Lee a few years ago when I had the privilege of helping her beautiful family organise a funeral for a loved one. So, when she contacted me to tell me she was getting married to Joel, I was absolutely honoured that she chose me to be their celebrant.

And what a beautiful place they chose to begin this next chapter together at the stunning Dalywater Estate on the Mornington Peninsula, surrounded by the people they love.

Joel shares a very special relationship with his beautiful Nan, so he invited her to accompany him down the aise on his wedding day.

Weddings are often remembered for the big moments, like the vows, the first kiss or the first dance or the party.  But often it’s the more intimate moments that become the memories that are treasured the most. 

At their ceremony, they chose to have candles burning and photographs of loved ones who were unable to be there, creating a beautiful way to include them in their special day.

Family members were also invited to be part of the ceremony in meaningful and special ways, helping to make the day even more personal and memorable.

Jaymee-Lee & Joel chose to have their mums as their witnesses on their wedding day….. the very women who raised them to be the incredible people they are today and who have stood beside them through so many of life’s big moments.  From guiding their first steps in life…. To standing with them as they take this next one together.

They were surrounded by the best wedding crew, who helped keep the nerves at bay and the good vibes flowing throughout the day.

Jaymee-Lee and Joel’s wedding was such a beautiful reflection of who they are……relaxed, genuine, surrounded by the people they love and with plenty of love and laughter.

It was a privilege to be their celebrant.

Congratulations, Jaymee-Lee and Joel. I hope married life brings you plenty of adventures, and many happy years together.
