Tay & Ryan | Vines of the Yarra Valley
I have known Taylah since she was a little girl so being the person who got to marry her to her lovely partner, Ryan, was a particularly special privilege.
Almost 18 years ago, I moved in next door to Tay’s nanna, Gloria. I still remember this beautiful little girl arriving with her nanna one day to borrow a cup of sugar. Tay was on her school holidays and helping Gloria bake a cake.
A lot has happened since then.
That little girl has grown into a beautiful young woman and years later, I found myself standing at Vines of the Yarra Valley conducting her ceremony to marry her to gorgeous Ryan.
Taylah and Ryan first met at school and since then they have learnt how to navigate adulthood together.
More recently, they bought their own home and welcomed Poppy, their beautiful dog into their lives. They love spending time making improvements, turning their house into a home and enjoying plenty of time with the people they love.
Their wedding day brought together so many of the people who have been part of their story.
Five grandparents were there to witness them say their vows, making their presence on the day especially meaningful. Family and friends were at the heart of the celebrations, with their wedding party doing a brilliant job of creating the energy, excitement and hype throughout the day.
Their much-loved dog Poppy joined them for photos, making sure she had her own little part in the memories of the day.
It was an absolute privilege to be there to witness it and even more so to be the one who got to marry them.
